［香り］エキゾチックな広葉樹の樹脂、トロピカルフルーツの紅茶、チェリーの咳止めシロップに満ちた、素晴らしく魅力的な香り。温かいマルド・サイダーと濃厚なモルト・ローフ。加水すると、トリークルを塗ったブラウンブレッド、スパイスを効かせたバニラスポンジプディング、シーソルト入りのミルクチョコレート、ゴールデンシロップが現れる。
［味わい］デーツ、強いミントティー、フルーツ糖蜜、パンプキンシードオイル、そしてメンソールの雰囲気で始まり、清涼感と口の中を落ち着かせる感覚を与えるすっきりとした味わい。加水すると、アルマニャックに浸したダークフルーツと、ダークチョコレートに浸したスパイス入りのマジパン。
13年間bourbon hogsheadで熟成した後、first fill heavily toasted medium charred hogsheadに移し替え。
A wonderfully inviting nose we felt, full of exotic hardwood resins, tropical fruit teas and cherry cough syrup. We also noted warm mulled cider and dense malt loaf. Reduction offered up brown bread spread with treacle, vanilla sponge pudding infused with spices, milk chocolate with sea salt, and golden syrup. The neat palate commenced with dates, strong mint tea, fruit molasses, pumpkinseed oil and a mentholated vibe that gave a cooling and mouth-soothing sensation. Water revealed a leathery quality, with dark fruits soaked in armagnac and spiced marzipan dipped in dark chocolate. This was matured in a bourbon hogshead for 13 years before being transferred to a first fill heavily toasted medium charred hogshead.
