［香り］まずたっぷりのバニラ、次にチェリー・ベークウェル、熟したジューシーなフルーツ、イエロー・プラム、蜂蜜、花の蜜を感じる。これはこの蒸溜所のチャーミングでフルーツ香の特徴が良く出る典型的な香りだと感じた。加水すると、レモンドリズルケーキ、パイナップルゼリー、マンゴーラッシー、さらにデザートワインを使った高級カスタードのような遊び心のある香りが広がる。
［味わい］甘くナッツのようで、ピンクのウエハース・ビスケット、マシュマロ、イラクサ茶、柔らかいワックス、熟しすぎたマンゴー。加水すると、後味にピリッとした柑橘類、ゴールデン・サルタナ、熟成したソーテルヌ、マスカット・ワイン、そしてフレッシュ・ミントが広がる。
The Panel initially noted "oodles" of vanilla, then cherry bakewell, ripe juicy fruits, yellow plums, runny honey and flower nectars. We felt this was typical of this distillery's charming and uber-fruit make. Some water brought playful notes of lemon drizzle cake, pineapple jelly and mango lassi, plus some upmarket custard made with dessert wine. The palate when neat was sweet and nutty, with notes of pink wafer biscuits, marshmallows, nettle tea, soft waxes and overripe mango. Water brought out some zingy citrus, golden sultanas, aged sauternes, muscat wine and a twang of fresh mint in the aftertaste.
