タイトル： Apple snow in summer / 夏のアップルスノー
ドライフラワーの花輪、バナナスプリット、レモンカード、ハニーケーキ、フレンチファンシーなど、太陽のようなほほ笑みで干し草の影から控え目な香りが顔を覗かせる。味わいはパフアメ、蜂蜜、ホワイトチョコレートのシンプルな甘さで始まり、ルバーブ、フレッシュオーク、紅茶、ナツメグ、チリフレークの複雑なフィニッシュへと開いていく。加水した香りはレモンボンボン、フルーツサラダ、リンゴ園、ヌガー、メレンゲ、スイートピーなど。加水した味わいは、オレンジ・マーマレード、レモン・パフ、アップル・スノー、バタースコッチで、砂糖コーティングしたジンジャーとシナモンでフィニッシュへ。
The shy nose peeped out from behind haystacks, wearing dried flower garlands and smiled upon us with a sunny exposition of banana split, lemon curd, honey cake and French fancies. The palate started out with simple sweetness (puff candy, honey, white chocolate) but opened up to a complex finish of rhubarb, fresh oak, black tea, nutmeg and chilli flakes. The reduced nose continued to tease us with its delicate fragrances – lemon bonbons, fruit salad, apple orchards, nougat, meringue and sweet peas. The palate now had orange marmalade, lemon puffs, apple snow and butterscotch; then crystallised ginger and cinnamon to finish.
