このウイスキーの奥にある古典的なレフィルウッドを感じる事が出来る。
［香り］まず木の香り、折れた小枝、バナナブレッド、小麦シリアル、糊の効いたリネン、ヒマワリ油。とても満足感がある。加水すると、フランベしたオレンジの皮、白亜質の石灰岩、熟成した柑橘類の皮、ハーブバター、リモンチェッロと花粉がたっぷりの黄色い花が現れる。
［味わい］オイリーなテクスチャー、咳止め飴、レモン大麦水、タイガーバーム、亜麻仁油すっきりとした素晴らしい味わい。加水すると、最高の木材感が戻ってくる。土感のあるターメリック、ママレード、わずかに焦がしたトースト、サンダルウッド、たくさんの野草の新鮮な香りがもたらされる。
We found ourselves in classic refill wood territory with a clear view 'under the bonnet' of this wonderful distillate. Initial aromas noted included scented wood, snapped twigs, banana bread, wheat cereals, starched linens and sunflower oil. Extremely satisfying we felt. With water we got flamed orange peel, chalky limestone, aged citrus peels, herb butter, limoncello and yellow flowers heavy with pollen. The neat palate possessed a notably oily texture and some lovely notes of cough mixtures, lemon barley water, tiger balm and linseed oil. Once again refill wood at its best. Reduction brought earth turmeric, marmalade on slightly burnt toast, sandalwood and many fresh notes of wildflowers.
