トルココーヒー、少し焦げたアップルパイ、ジンジャー入りのスティッキー・タフィー・プディング、そしてタバコ販売員のブリーフケースを開けたときのような土っぽさを感じる香り。口に含むと、チリチョコレート、トリークル、冷たいキャラメル、ホットクロスバンズ、クミンシード、樹皮、わさびを感じる。加水した香りはジンジャービール、レインボードロップ、擦り切れた革手袋、ライムピクルスのニュアンス、そして「動物園の近くのリンゴの木に登っている」イメージ。加水した味わいは、塩キャラメル、大麦糖、泡立ったバナナ、ライムコーディアル、オレンジの花、フィニッシュにはカルダモン、ローリエ、割り箸と次々に変化する。
The nose had Turkish coffee, slightly burnt apple pie and sticky toffee pudding with ginger pieces; then an earthiness like opening up a tobacco salesman’s briefcase. On the palate, chilli chocolate, treacle and iced caramels sat alongside hot cross buns, cumin seeds, tree bark and wasabi. The reduced nose gave us ginger beer, rainbow drops, worn leather gloves, hints of lime pickle and "climbing an apple tree near a zoo". The reduced palate had salted caramel, barley sugars and foamy bananas, lime cordial and orange blossom and a finish of cardamom, bay leaf and wooden chopsticks – a rather changeable and intriguing sample.
