[香り] 最初、とにかく絶妙な果実味。エキゾチックな、緑と白のストーンフルーツをふんだんに感じる。熟して、ジューシーで、完全に魅了される。さらに、ハニーケーキ、花蜜、花粉、パイナップルシロップ、アプリコット、ホワイトチョコレートのタッチも感じられる。加水すると、パイナップル、レモン、タブレット、エキゾチックなフルーツサラダジュースの香りが広がる。
[味わい] モルトロードとレモンマーマレードで始まり、甘いデザートワイン、マンゴーラッシー、砂糖コーティングした柑橘系果実の大きな波がおしよせてくる。加水すると、エルダーフラワーコーディアル、砂糖コーティングしたマンゴーの塊、ヘシアン、黄色いプラムが現れ、ソーテルヌの香りが持続する。ゴージャスな味わい。
バーボン樽で19年間熟成後、ファーストフィルのエクス・ソーテルヌ・バリックに移し替え。
This one was just exquisitely fruity at first. Exotic, green and white stone fruits in abundance. Ripe, juicy and totally captivating. Eventually we also noted honey cake, nectars, pollens, pineapple syrup and apricots with a touch of white chocolate. Water brought more pineapple notes, waxed lemons, tablet and exotic fruit salad juices. The neat palate opened with malt load and lemon marmalade before a big rush of sweet dessert wines, mango lassi and crystallised citrus fruits. Water brought out elderflower cordial, crystallised mango chunks, hessian and yellow plums with persistent Sauternes notes. Gorgeous! Matured for 19 years in a bourbon barrel before transfer to a 1st fill ex-Sauternes barrique.
