パイナップルの角切り、小麦のビール、赤いコーラ、バルサ、そしてネイル店のドアを通り過ぎた時のような珍しい香りの組み合わせ。バニラ、カスタードクリーム、パイナップルゼリーとトフィーアップル、フィニッシュはジンジャー、シナモン、ホワイトペッパーとオークの引き込まれるような温かみのある味わい。加水すると、イチゴのボンボン、バナナのスプリット、夏の果実の麦汁のような、かなり果実味豊かな香りが現れる。加水した味わいは加水前と異なり、ヘーゼルナッツ・チョコレート、ルバーブとカスタードのお菓子、ねっとりとしたジンジャーケーキ、フィニッシにはリコリスとエストラゴン。
The unreduced nose was an unusual mix of pineapple cubes, wheat beer, red cola, balsa and walking past the door of a nail parlour. The palate combined vanilla and custard creams with pineapple jelly and toffee apples, while the finish supplied a drawn -out warming tease of ginger, cinnamon, white pepper and oak. With water, we thought the nose became considerably fruitier – displaying strawberry bonbons, banana split and summer fruits barley water. The palate now discovered hazelnut chocolate, rhubarb and custard sweets, and gooey ginger cake – with the finish wandering off in a liquorice and tarragon direction.
