TITLE: Ole! Islay! / オーレ! アイラ!
[香り] 深みのある魅力的な最初の香りは、メンソールタバコ、ミントジュレップカクテル、フルーティーなブラックコーヒー、クルミ油、磨かれたチーク家具、塩キャラメル、ブランデースナップのようなアロマをたっぷりと漂わせる。加水すると、煮詰めたダークフルーツ、塩漬け甘草、イチジクジャム、そして可愛らしくエーテル的なランシオの雰囲気。
[味わい] 口に含むと、湿った土、クローブ、グリーンウォールナットリキュール、ビターオレンジマーマレード、ドライローストピーナッツの印象があり、すぐに濃厚でリッチな味わいになる。加水すると、塩漬けアーモンド、VORSオロロソシェリー、パプリカをまぶしたイベリコハム、パンパニッケルパン、ドライジンジャー、ブランシリアルのダークな香りが加わる。
バーボンホグスヘッドで10年熟成後、1stフィルのスパニッシュオーク・オロロソホグスヘッドに移し替え。
A deep and inviting initial nose that threw off generous aromas of menthol tobaccos, mint julep cocktails, fruity black coffee and things like walnut oil, polished teak furniture, salted caramel and brandy snaps. Water unveiled stewed dark fruits, salted liquorice, fig jam and a lovely, ethereal rancio vibe. The palate was immediately dense and rich with impressions of damp cellar earth, cloves, green walnut liqueur, bitter orange marmalade and dry roast peanuts. Some water added salted almond notes, VORS oloroso sherry, paprika-dusted Iberico ham and dark notes of pumpernickel bread, dried ginger and bran cereals. Matured in a bourbon hogshead for 10 years before transfer to a 1st fill Spanish oak Oloroso hogshead.
